Haunted places in Finland

What are the most haunted places in Finland? The best-known is Doppelgänger.

Finnish folklore has its own version of the spirit double, the etiäinen, which arrives ahead of a person so that friends hear them before they come – a belief shared with the Norwegian vardøger. In Helsinki, theatres and old houses have long-standing ghosts: the Finnish National Theatre is said to host a grey lady and the spirits of two of its former actors, and the Svenska Klubben house in Kruununhaka has its ‘Grey Madame’.
